I couldn't resist and bought a large red aztec design blanket - so now I have my very own Karen Blanket.

Hotel lobby where we stayed at The Royal Princess Hotel, Chiang Mai.
Jenny and I were very impressed with this hotel. A very welcoming hotel lobby and brilliant location, right on the Night Bizaar
road and close to the old city of Chiang Mai. Everything is very close and walkable. Comfortable rooms, fantastic buffet breakfast and nice pool and so reasonably priced. We loved the staff here.
Chiang Mai is a lovely city, much calmer and more laid back than Phuket and Bangkok but with plenty to see and do.
I would definitely go back and stay in this hotel again.
